Publicis Dublin has been appointed as the creative agency for electric vehicle brands MG Motors and Farizon in Ireland, taking on integrated communications and strategic brand development mandates for both companies as they advance their electric mobility ambitions in the Irish market.
As reported by LBB Online, the appointment tasks Publicis Dublin with bringing each brand's global positioning to life for Irish audiences, with a focus on making electric driving more accessible for both private motorists and commercial operators.
MG Motors, a heritage automotive brand repositioned around an accessible, technology-led electric vehicle range, is targeting drivers considering a switch to electric for the first time. Farizon, a specialist in electric commercial vehicles, is directing its proposition at businesses seeking to decarbonise logistics operations through zero-emission transport solutions.
Edel McCabe, business director at Publicis Dublin, said: "Both brands have a clear vision for the future of electric vehicles, and there's a real opportunity to tell stories that go beyond the usual conversation and speak to what Irish drivers and businesses actually need. This vision perfectly aligns with our Leave a Mark philosophy creating work that has impact in the real world, delivering meaningful and effective brand communications."
Ireland's EV market has grown steadily in recent years, supported by government purchase incentives and an expanding public charging network. Electric vehicles accounted for approximately 18% of new car registrations in Ireland in 2024, with commercial EV adoption accelerating as fleet operators respond to emissions reporting requirements and rising fuel costs.
