US food and beverage company PepsiCo has launched the 2026 Asia Pacific edition of its Greenhouse Program, titled the IMPACT Edition, marking a strategic shift from early-stage experimentation to the full-scale deployment of validated sustainability technologies across its regional supply chain.
As reported by New Food Magazine, now in its fourth year in Asia Pacific, the programme has supported more than 22 pilots with over 30 startups. The 2026 edition selects solutions already proven within PepsiCo's ecosystem and positions them for broader commercial rollout, with potential for global scaling beyond the region.
The seven-month programme connects startups with cross-functional PepsiCo mentors and a network of venture, academic, and industry partners including Artesian, AgFunder Asia, Circulate Capital, and SAIL at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
Anne Tse, CEO for Asia Pacific at PepsiCo, said: "Our priority is to focus on solutions that strengthen resilience in our value chain, accelerate execution in the market, and advance pep+ in ways that are measurable for both our business and our partners."
The 2026 cohort comprises five returning Greenhouse alumni selected for their readiness to expand across markets. Adiona applies AI-powered logistics optimisation to reduce Scope 3 emissions across bottler networks. Bali Waste Cycle operates a decentralised model recovering low-value plastics under Extended Producer Responsibility frameworks. Beijing AIForce Tech deploys electric agricultural machinery to reduce emissions and labour dependency. Takachar converts crop residues into biochar to support carbon sequestration and reduce open burning. X-Centric provides digital soil analytics to optimise inputs and support regenerative agriculture outcomes.
A regional showcase in October 2026 will present progress and explore further commercial deployment opportunities across Asia Pacific.
