Rosie O'Neill, Director of Sustainability at ifac and former Sustainability Manager at An Post, has been confirmed as a member of the judging panel for the Green Transformation Awards 2026, bringing a career that bridges peer-reviewed environmental science and practical sustainability leadership across both the public and private sectors to a programme recognising Irish organisations driving systemic change in sustainable business practice.

O'Neill's credentials span academia and industry in equal measure. She holds a PhD in environmental science and has authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific papers on soil health, nutrient management, and greenhouse gas emissions, giving her a command of the evidence base that underpins credible sustainability strategy.

That scientific foundation has been applied throughout a career in which she has led cross-sector initiatives focused on carbon reduction, biodiversity, energy efficiency, and ESG integration, demonstrating a capacity to translate research rigour into real-world organisational outcomes.

Her professional recognition reflects the quality of that contribution. O'Neill was named Business Post Rising Star of the Year and PwC ESG Champion, acknowledgements of a career that has consistently pushed the boundaries of what sustainability leadership looks like in practice.

Those honours, combined with her experience across climate strategy, biodiversity, and ESG compliance, position her as an evaluator with both the technical depth and the strategic perspective to distinguish genuine transformation from incremental progress.

The Green Transformation Awards 2026 spans 22 categories recognising sustainability excellence across organisation size, sector, and transformation type, with entries assessed by an independent panel bound by strict confidentiality.

O'Neill joins Judging Coordinator Daragh Anglim of Broadlake, Nicholas Holden of Proveye, David Maguire of BNRG Renewables, Ian Phillips of Anua Clean Air International, and Antonio Vieira Santos of Eviden.

The awards gala will take place on 6 November 2026 at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire.
