HelloFresh cuts 200 tonnes of emissions with Rivian electric vans

HelloFresh is setting a new benchmark in sustainable logistics, slashing over 200 tonnes of CO₂ emissions by integrating 70 of Rivian’s electric vans into its U.S. delivery fleet. Now, nearly a quarter of its last-mile fleet is electric, one of the most emissions-heavy segments of the supply chain.

This move isn’t just about vehicles, it’s a rethink of logistics. With 250,000+ miles driven, 20,000 gallons of fuel saved, and a strategic shift to local transit hubs, HelloFresh is cutting packaging waste, reducing food spoilage, and boosting air quality in major cities.

With charging infrastructure already in place and smart partnerships like RyderElectric+, the company is proving that electrifying operations at scale is not only feasible—but commercially sound.
