Shabra Plastics and Packaging Limited has been confirmed as Platinum Sponsor of the Green Awards 2027, lending its circular economy credentials to Ireland's longest-running sustainability recognition programme ahead of the awards gala on 23 February at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.

A leading Irish recycling, plastics, and sustainable manufacturing business with more than four decades of experience, Shabra Group operates from County Monaghan and delivers integrated solutions across recycling, reprocessing, packaging, and circular manufacturing.

The company empowers customers with knowledge, leads with reliability and traceability, and works to simplify recycling processes while creating measurable positive environmental impact across the supply chains it serves.

By helping customers reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and contribute to a stronger circular economy, Shabra embodies the kind of systemic, long-term approach to sustainability that the Green Awards has championed since its establishment in 2008.

Its Platinum Sponsorship reflects both the depth of that alignment and Shabra's broader commitment to advancing sustainable business practice across Irish industry.

The Green Awards recognises outstanding achievement across 32 categories spanning the full breadth of Ireland's sustainability landscape, from Green Business of the Year, Green Leader, and ESG Best Performer of the Year to sector-specific awards covering construction, energy, food and beverage, life sciences, logistics and transport, retail, healthcare, and technology.

New for 2027, the Best Green Building category reflects the programme's expanding scope as sustainability excellence continues to reshape Ireland's built environment alongside its business community.

Entries are free to submit and assessed by an independent judging panel coordinated by Padraig Ryan, Managing Director of Navitise Consulting, and Daragh Anglim of Broadlake, and drawn from senior figures spanning green political economy, circular economy innovation, ESG strategy, and sustainability advocacy.

The entry deadline is 30 October 2026, with the awards gala taking place on 23 February 2027 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.
