BioCirc has secured €40.2 million in fresh funding, setting its sights on €134 million worth of green energy projects by 2025. The Danish bioeconomy innovator is building the world’s largest biogas facility and adding a solar park, grass-protein site, and five carbon capture plants to its expanding energy cluster.
With plans to sequester 1 million tonnes of CO₂ and produce 1.5 TWh of clean energy annually, BioCirc is accelerating Denmark’s transition to localised, circular, and fossil-free energy systems, powered by farmers, backed by government, and designed for scale.
