Allianz Ireland has teamed up with Irish green parts specialist Ted4Parts to introduce a new scheme promoting eco-conscious vehicle repair without compromising quality or cost efficiency. The partnership enables repairers to access certified Grade A recycled parts backed by a lifetime warranty.

The initiative also includes an £87 excess reduction for policyholders who opt for green parts, creating a direct incentive for sustainable repair choices. For businesses within Ireland’s automotive and insurance sectors, this move aligns profitability with environmental accountability and demonstrates that sustainability can enhance operational value rather than add cost.

Ted4Parts managing director Brendan Rafferty described the initiative as a natural evolution for the industry. “By pairing environmental responsibility with tangible customer benefits, we’re setting a new benchmark for how the Irish repair industry can operate more sustainably,” he said.

Maeve Kelly, interim head of sustainability at Allianz Ireland, noted that the scheme reinforces the company’s long-term sustainability strategy. “Our green parts offering allows us to reduce environmental impact while maintaining repair standards and turnaround efficiency,” she said.

This development underscores how cross-industry collaboration can deliver practical solutions that meet rising environmental standards and customer expectations. By linking incentives with sustainability, Allianz and Ted4Parts are redefining what responsible repair looks like in today’s insurance ecosystem.
