Luxembourg-headquartered sustainable infrastructure investor Actis has completed the acquisition of a 90% stake in 800 Super, a leading integrated environmental management company in Singapore, in a transaction carried out alongside 800 Super founder and CEO William Lee.
The deal, announced via press release on 23 March 2026, represents a further investment from Actis' Long Life Infrastructure Fund 2 (ALLIF2), bringing the fund to approximately 70% deployed and raising Actis' total deployment in Southeast Asia to US$1.7 billion (approximately €1.47 billion) since inception.
800 Super is one of only three licensed municipal solid waste and integrated public cleaning service providers in Singapore, and the only major player in the sector embedded across the full circular economy value chain. The company provides waste management, waste treatment, public cleaning, and recycling and resource recovery services to both public and private sector clients, with a majority of revenues derived from multi-year contracts with the Singaporean government.
Adrian Mucalov, Head of Long Life Infrastructure at Actis, said the business carried "a terrific defensive profile, with a majority of revenues coming from long-term government contracts, while meaningfully contributing to Singapore's sustainability ambitions."
William Lee, CEO of 800 Super, described the acquisition as "a strategic investment in our future, combining our strengths to accelerate innovation and deliver exceptional value to our clients, partners and employees."
The transaction positions 800 Super to support Singapore's 2030 Zero Waste Masterplan, a national framework targeting a sustainable, resource-efficient economy through reduced waste generation and increased recycling.
The acquisition follows a series of Actis investments across Southeast Asia in energy, digital, and infrastructure assets, including MTerra Solar, Epoch Digital, and Levanta Renewables.
