Panda has been confirmed as Gold Sponsor of the Green Awards 2027, lending its waste management and circular economy expertise to Ireland's longest-running sustainability recognition programme ahead of the awards gala on 23 February at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.

A waste management trailblazer since 1990, Panda is trusted by more than 300,000 homes and businesses across Ireland. Committed to a circular economy, the company enhances environmental performance by extracting value from waste. As part of Beauparc, it manages 4 million tonnes of waste annually across Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands.

In a green business landscape where sustainable business practice, environmental innovation, and resource efficiency are increasingly central to how organisations compete, Panda's work speaks directly to the challenges facing Irish businesses on their sustainability journeys. Its sponsorship reflects a natural alignment with the values the Green Awards has championed since 2008.

The Green Awards 2027 recognises outstanding achievement across 32 categories spanning the full breadth of Ireland's sustainability landscape, from Green Business of the Year, Green Leader, and ESG Best Performer of the Year to sector-specific awards covering energy, construction, food and beverage, life sciences, logistics and transport, retail, healthcare, and technology, including the Excellence in Waste Management Award.

Entries are assessed by an independent judging panel coordinated by Padraig Ryan of Navitise Consulting and Daragh Anglim of Broadlake, and drawn from senior figures spanning green political economy, circular economy innovation, ESG strategy, and sustainability advocacy.

The entry deadline is 30 October 2026, with the awards gala taking place on 23 February 2027 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.
