Activ8 Solar Energies has been named winner of the Green Energy Provider Award at the Green Awards 2026, lauded last year for an outstanding year of growth, innovation, and community impact that cemented its position as the driving force behind Ireland's residential and commercial solar transition.

The award, announced on 24 February 2026 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, honours Activ8's work as Ireland's largest solar installer.

The company has delivered over 22,000 installations and 140MW of solar capacity, empowering homes and businesses nationwide to reduce emissions, cut costs, and achieve genuine energy independence.

Judges highlighted a year that demonstrated both scale and substance across every dimension of the business.

“A major increase in renewable installations during 2025, supported by flagship projects, showed real scale and momentum in clean energy delivery. Continued investment in product development and own facilities, alongside strong community engagement and charity work, highlighted a business embedding innovation at every level while expanding its impact beyond Irish markets," the judging panel stated.

Activ8's recognition reflects the significance the Green Awards place on organisations that translate environmental ambition into verified, large-scale outcomes.

Where others position sustainability as a corporate commitment, Activ8 has built an entire business model around accelerating Ireland's renewable transition, demonstrating that commercial success and climate impact are not competing priorities but mutually reinforcing ones.

As the Green Awards approach their two-decade milestone, Activ8 Solar Energies joins a distinguished cohort of winners proving that the energy sector's transformation is already well underway, driven by companies with the capability and conviction to deliver it at scale.
