Honoured for a year of tangible environmental progress across two distinct dimensions of sustainability, ABP Food Group took home both the Green Packaging Award and the Sustainable Water Achievement Award at the Green Awards 2026, with the announcement made on 24 February 2026 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.

The double win reflects an organisation that has moved beyond isolated sustainability initiatives toward something far more deliberate — a business-wide commitment to environmental responsibility that manifests differently across functions but is driven by the same underlying ambition and depth of conviction.

On the Green Packaging Award, judges stated: "Innovation-led initiatives delivered measurable environmental benefits across product packaging and distribution, reflecting genuine effort and impact. The depth of passion and ambition shown across the business sets a strong example of what packaging sustainability can achieve when it is embedded at every level."

On the Sustainable Water Achievement Award, the panel added: "ABP Food Group delivered a comprehensive, group-wide approach with clear tracking of water use, cost efficiency, and associated carbon impacts. Innovative organic treatment using local fauna, supported by recognised ISO standards and strong cross-organisational collaboration, demonstrated authentic and effective water stewardship embedded across the business."

As the Green Awards approach their two-decade milestone, ABP Food Group takes its place among a cohort of winners proving that meaningful environmental progress within the food sector demands the same strategic discipline, cross-functional commitment, and appetite for innovation as any other business-critical priority.
