Nick Holden
Professor of Biosystems Engineering, University College Dublin

Nick’s teaching and research focuses on life cycle assessment and critical assessment of green technologies, addressing the impact and sustainability of agriculture, food and the bioeconomy. He is deputy director of the BiOrbic Bioeconomy, SFI Research Centre, a leader of the Consus SFI Strategic Partnership, and is actively involved with academic, industry and civil society partners to define standards for quantifying the external costs of the agri-food and circular bioeconomy systems. Nick is a founder and director of ProvEye Ltd.
