Mark Bennett is Director of the Innovation Hub at Trinity College Dublin. He has particular competencies in smart cities, clean technology and corporate citizenship strategy. He was the founder of an Internet of Things mobility startup and led sustainability projects for Dublin City Council. He has worked in the private, public and NGO sectors on environmental and business strategy in Ireland, the US, UK and Italy in addition to placements with the US Environmental Protection Agency and the European Commission. Mark is interested in the potential benefits of Artificial Intelligence for the environment having completed a short course in AI from Oxford University. He holds a BA in Environmental Science from Trinity College, an MSc in International Management from King’s College London and a postgrad in Sustainable Energy Finance from Dublin City University.
