Lorraine holds an MSc. in Environmental Health & Safety Management and has built strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders with the aim of promoting and embedding safe and sustainable practices in University of Galway. She is responsible for the ongoing management of the ISO50001:2018 Energy Management System and works closely with the energy team to drive continuous improvement, delivering on energy projects which has resulted in the University far exceeding the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan target of 33% by 2020.
